The Snuggery Bar (Guests Only)
Originally Sir Stephen’s private library, The Snuggery Bar is adorned with beautifully hand-crafted wood work and serves as the perfect retreat for guests after a long day traversing the gardens or the visiting the surrounding areas. This spot is especially popular during winter when guests enjoy their choice of fine wines, whiskeys or liquors while sitting in front of a roaring log fire.
The Main Lounge
The opulently decorated main lounge opens out on to the north facing veranda and a stunning view of the rose garden and the surrounding Imbeza Valley Mountains. The ‘home’ of the famous signature panels, the main lounge provides guests the opportunity to relax, immerse themselves in a book by the fire, play board games, or share the company of family or fellow guests over an afternoon tea or an evening drink.
The Day Lounge (Guests Only)
Originally the boudoir for Lady Virginia, the Day Lounge affords guests the opportunity to catch up on some news, read a book or just relax and enjoy the tranquillity of the Country House. The Day Lounge opens up on to the Guest Swimming Pool.
